AS for getting enough power at friends I would make an adapter from the three prong dryer outlet to the four 50amp. With enough 50amp RV power cord you should be fine until your friends need to dry some clothes.
Now I'm no electrician so I may be wrong on this, but I don't think I am. Isn't a three prong dryer outlet 220 volts? While a four prong 50 Amp RV outlet is 110 volts? Seems to me that I recall a story on here where a guy had a 50 amp outlet installed by an electrician for his motorhome and the electrician hooked it up as a 220 volt instead of a 110 volt and the result was many thousands of dollars damage to the motorhome.
READ my post above....you will fry your electronics if you plug your rig into a dryer outlet....Dennis
