I agree Msmith1199, some of them are opulent to a fault. All that glitters is not always worth glittering... :)
That's why I said earlier that it's really tough to find reviews on new motorhomes much less used ones. OhhWell sent me over to irv2.com and that looks hopeful but at a quick glance tells me it doesn't give reviews, it gives reactions to various specific things that have gone wrong or a question in general about maintence issues. I'm just really surprised there is nowhere to get motorhome reviews.
I'd just like to know who the day in and day out quality players are. I don't necessarly mean top money lines like Prevost. I mean, what manufacturers have the reputations for building a quality motorhome year after year?
I know that Winnebago is a brand of long standing, are they a quality manufacturer? Who are the brands you can constantly trust? Many times you can tell it by resale value but I've not gotten to that yet.
I know people have their personal likes like Ford vs Chevy but even a bias at this point would be better than no idea at all. Let me restructure the question... If you were looking for a used motorhome DP 43 to 45 ft long between $200,000 to $250,000 what brands/models would you be looking at? I know a lot of different things can go into it, but for now lets concentrate on "Quality", who do you know that makes a quality coach that you'd expect to last 10 to 15 years?
