Thinking of taking the Kids to Wash. DC any suggestions?

Cherry Hill if you can get in on short notice and are staying a few days. For one day you can park at the Bladensburg Metro station or safer yet park at the BWI Amtrack station and ride that into DC.....If you have a towed ride there is a pretty good camp ground in Millersville but you still have to drive into DC, not recommended. You can get to most attractions on the Metro. I lived in DC and surrounding area for about 50 years and my main advice is don't be there after dark.
