We are planing our first outing in march to Florida
Just keep in mind many CG's in your area are not open that time of year. They usually are closed OCT and reopen MAY because they shut the water off. So check with the CG's you have scheduled to stay at on the way down.
...and our motor home has nothing in it we need a little help stocking it up with everything we need and stuff we could do with out.
Make some soup, stews, chili, lasagna, chicken/rice dishes etc.,
while you are still at home and put in small containers and freeze half of them in your home freezer.
THEN pack the frozen and not frozen ones in your MH fridge/freezer when you are ready to hit the road.
The not frozen ones make for easy, great HEALTHY lunches for the trip down while stopped at a rest area. Use the frozen ones when you get to your destination CG. Just pop them in the micro. That way you don't have to buy and store all the grocery ingredients to make food and where to pack it all.
Took me a couple of years to figure out that was the best way to eat healthy while on the road and stay out of those fast food places and high priced restaurants that now seem to serve junk food also! :C
I full time now and I set aside one day a month at a CG to make big pots of different food to put up in containers for the RV freezer.
Happy Camping with your new to you RV.
Come on down the weather is fine here in Florida.
