That brings to mind my other leaning experiences! :C
1. Be sure to buy some roof vent covers and put them in each roof vent. Roof vents are plastic and NOT sealed and a ton of cold comes thru them.
2. And Pick up a couple of 'van' sized windshield sun shades to put under your day/night shades to insulate the cold from the windows.
They fit perfectly underneath the shade. stay put, and easy to put up and down without having to use velcro. A ton of cold comes thru the side windows. Buy one more for the front windshield of the RV too when parked.
Both of these tactics will keep the inside of your MH warm when traveling during the cold weather AND helps tremendously when you are parked and using your furnace and/or ceramic heater.
This is what a RV pillow vent cover looks like. All camping stores and dealerships will carry them. Sometimes walmart also.

Van windshield sun shades find them at any walmart. I buy the ones with palm trees on them so it doesn't look so tacky from the outside.:W
