I'll add some basic "furnishings" to keep in the RV for travel:
1. Portable propane grill. I'm very partial to my little Weber Q100, but even a $15 tin special from Walmart will work OK. I just use the 1 lb disposable propane canisters. Get some grill utensils to keep in the motorhome too. We almost exclusively cook on the grill outside.
2. Some kind of folding table(s) for outside, 1) for the grill and 2) as a snack an drink location.
3. A few folding chairs. We just use the collapsable ones that come with their own carry bags
4. Some kind of outdoor "rug". It doesn't have to be one of the Camping World big buck$ ones. We just use a remnant sized piece of indoor/outdoor carpet, or astroturf, either found on sale from Home Depot for usually arund $15. When it gets icky, just throw it out and buy another.
With those limited items, you'll do fine outdoor living under the awning at any campsite.
I don't think anyone has mentioned in detail any set-up, electrical or plumbing stuff. Obviously a dump hose, elbow and a rubber gasket for tank business. A 50amp to 30amp adaptor can be handy and necessary (I ended up once somewhere where the power poles were 50a 240v and 20a 120v only). Also a 30 amp to 20 amp 120v adaptor too, but they can make GFCI outlets trip. I also carry a 30 amp extension cord, as I've had power poles too far away for the built-in cord to reach. If you don't have jacks, buy a couple of 2x10's, get out the circular saw, set the blade to 45 degrees and make varying length boards to be able to stack on each other for driving up on in order to level. Also, I think it may have been mentioned, white hoses for water hook-ups, and a Y-fitting and regular hose and nozzle to have for any other outdoor water use or hosing off.
I carry a bunch of other stuff, but with the above most any site set-up issues can be handled.
