Assemble a dedicated tool kit to keep in the motorhome. Should include: a small and a larger crescent wrench, a large pair of "vice grips", wire cutters, battery terminal cleaner device, rubber bulb-type battery filler, a cheap digital multi-meter, duct tape, electrical tape, soft iron "baling" wire, Phillips and slot head screwdrivers and a set of mini-screwdrivers, small wire brush, pair of heavy duty scissors, jack knife, sand paper, crazy glue, tire pressure gauge, large plastic bags, shop towels, assortment of fuses and 12 volt interior light bulbs, some screws, nuts and bolts and hose clamps, can of WD-40. Keep a good first aid kit in the motorhome with telfa pad band-aids, gauze, tape, anti-biotic ointment, and bandage material.
Sooner or later you will need all of the above.
