"Usually" where the wiper arm attaches to the arm drive stud, there's a bolt holding the arm to the stud. If so, take out the bolt and pull off the arm. It could be frozen on there and you'll need something like penetrating fluid to help loosen it. Usually the stud is grooved to keep the arm from slipping on it. Take off the arm and move / rotate it a couple of grooves in the direction you think it needs to go. You might get it right the first time or may need to move it a little more. When it's in the right place, replace the bolt.
