I have a 2017 30' Thor ACE with one full length slide. There has been alot of talk on the Thor forum about the Schwintek slide system. It seems that at the start they were only putting one track on the top and the bottom. They have made neccessary changes by putting two tracks on top and one on the bottom.
The key is you have to follow the mfg directions for the slide to operate the way it should. The main other than leveling the coach you have to make sure you NEVER stop the slide during its travel path. You have to let it run its path and keep the button pushed well after its finished. The reason for this it the motors have to stay in sinc with one and other, very important.
I have not had any trouble with my slide as of this point.
