Tiffin is still offering factory service! First come/first served seems to be a lot better than their old practice of scheduling service appointments a few days per year. I would think it is less expensive to perform warranty repairs at the factory than pay a dealer so it looks to me they are trying to eliminate all the complaints regarding service appointments.
If the problem is extensive, like cracks or paint issues, Tiffin will pick up the unit and then deliver it back to the customer. Tiffin will ALSO pick up units that are more than 2 years old and need extensive warranty work for a failed problem. NOT common, but Tiffin looks at each case and determines if they will transport themselves. These type problems usually cannot be addressed by a local dealer or the cost at the local area repair shops(paint and body work is a lot more than Tiffin can do in house). Doug
