I just took a set of Hankook's off my Silverado 2500 diesel. They ran about 50K miles and still had acceptable tread, but I needed a more aggressive tread for off-road use. I was satisfied with them until we took the first wheel off the passenger side steer and found two large bubbles with sidewall erosion and seperation at the bead of the tire on the inside. The tire had actually eaten into the alloy rim, I guess from the belts being exposed. I am still amazed that it hadn't blown out. Needless to say, I scrapped the idea of keeping the set for use when I wasn't going to be using the truck in the woods, and certainly didn't even consider another set of Hankooks for my truck, much less for my motorhome. I'd rather pay a little more and have confidence in my tires.
