As I have stated before, I have sold Michelins. It was not uncommon to have tires from several countries to be installed on the same vehicle. Michelin gets around the import question by first importing the tires to Canada and Mexico first, then importing them to the USA. I am not a fan of Michelin's, but to believe that they build tires in other countries that are not up to their standards - HOGWASH.
