Just a quick post from work. I appreciate all the input, thanks Capri for the view from the tire professional. I understand that I should allow for some wiggle room for the unknown side-to-side weight, and I'm glad that you have both clarified for me that all of these recommended pressures are minimums. I have not heard about "reserve capacity" before, so any information about that would be appreciated.
I have tried very hard to find somewhere to weigh all four corners, but so far no luck. Some have suggested that I find a CAT scale where I can drive on with two wheels off (left front and rear, for example) but have not found that either. I'm trying to be careful about loading evenly side to side. My rig doesn't have any slides, but the fresh water tank and generator are both on the driver's side, so I've tried to put other heavy items on the other side.
I'm using the rig to travel to dog events, so most likely won't be picking up a lot of extra heavy stuff on my travels.
And, it would be nice to improve the handling, I'm not sure how bad it is since this is the only MH I've ever driven ... I'm not white-knuckling it anymore, so that's probably a good sign.
