I have the same MH, although mine is a 1997. I've had it since 1998 and you're already one step ahead of me as I have never bothered having it weighed and went by Coachmen's weight sticker in the closet. Your generator and water are on the same side, but assuming it's the same as mine the refrigerator, range/oven, microwave and furnace are on the opposite side. It's probably fairly even on side to side weights. Mine isn't in my yard now, but at my brother's warehouse so I can't just run out and check the sticker.
Mine has always handled fine , as if it was riding on rails. I've never had any handling issues. I've also towed a boat/trailer combination that was over 6,000#, with no problems, although I did have a custom hitch fabricated for pulling that much weight.
