Tire Presures ... Hot and Cold
I know tires have recommended pressures listed on the sidewall and always assumed it is the hot number. Is there an average rule of thumb as to the temperature swings between hot and cold. 5, 10 or 15...

For tire pressures, the term "cold" means that the tires have been driven for less than a mile and have not been exposed to the Sun for an extended period. Tires that have been driven have warmed up above ambient temperature due to flexing of the tread and sidewalls. Tires on the sunny side of the RV will have higher temperatures and pressures than tires on the shady side. Adjusting pressures on hot tires will result in under-inflation.
