For reference, we tow a 4200 pound Jeep Liberty 4x4 equipped with a UNIFIED TOW BRAKE. That braking system is adjustable while driving so I can set it sensitive or not. When going down steep mountain passes, I set it so the tow vehicle helps slow down the motor home, just like their website claims. With that experience, when my wife's Liberty recently needed new rotors and pads, I bought slotted rotors and ceramic pads. Though we have yet to experience mountain driving since the brake job, the Liberty stops so much better on it's own. I anticipate it will do even better than before in helping our rig down hill.
