I tow a 2010 CRV and have never ran the battery dead never take a fuse out but i only tow about 8 hours with out stopping. The manual says to start and run 3 minutes before starting towing again that charges the battery and resets the trans.Do not know about yours check manual.there is a switch for it i think.
