Torn awning seam...
I have a 20 foot patio awning with cover and it's developed a tear along the seam near the entrance door. It's about 4" long. I'm not where I can do much about it for now...anyone h...

What kind of prep did you do to the fabric? And did you put the tape on the top and bottom of the fabric, or just one side? Any pics?

Just made sure the area was clean, and taped both sides. Sorry I don't have any pictures. For a temp repair I would give it a good try, I had good luck. It as not gotten any bigger, yet.
