Here is what can be done for a cracked Cast Iron Exhaust Manifold,
The can be Brazed with SSF-6 Silver Solder, The kit cost $300 and 4 18" flux coated rods cost $135, Also they can be stick welded with first a 77 Electrode rod and then go over that with a 72 rod The starter kits come with 5 18" rods ( Stick welder) they cast about $70 They can also be welded with a 99% nickel rod that cost $9.50 for 4 14 " rods Also they are a Cast iron rod and the cost for a 4 pack of them is $14.95
From what I read the SSF-6 is the best but is used for a deep crack and the Nickel 99 rods will do a good gob too but with both the heat up and cool down must be right of they can crack even worse than it was from the start, Being that the crack is not all the way through the casting I think I could just fill the Gap with a cast rod and fix this for $14.95 or I could just leave it alone, It might last a long time or could crack when the engine first warms up or cools down, Right now I just can't say, I guess we wait and see what happens here.
