I used regular Eternabond on my RV and was less than impressed. There are spots where it doesn't stay stuck down (it peels up). Guess I should have spent a little more and tried the cloth stuff.
In most cases it is not the eternabond at fault it is the applicator & the cleanliness of the prep. If you do have some lift ,use a hair dryer or heat gun & roll it down right. I have been using the stuff for several years & many times and only had once when it came back up, a short piece. I then recleaned the area, rolled it in and it is now fine & I did not need to use heat! I have some I did out five years & so do some friends as we kind of started using it at the same time. The key issue is CLEANLINESS. It is an excellent product when used correctly!! I am now in the process of doing our 2011 unit completely as far as any roof seams, vents, skylights, vent stacks, while the caulk is still new and fresh & should be good to go for the life of the unit or me!!IMHO jb
