One half of the tape onto the outer skin and the other half going to the inside over the 2x2's to the inside of the wall, Then put the gray stuff onto the frame of the window set the window in and I used new screws, I used one's with a 1/4 inch head self tapping, so I could tightening them with a socket & ratchet this pulls the window tight, The old screws will not pull the windows tight, Then where that glass seal will not touch the corners,?? Cut that seal and put it into the glass leaving a gap where it is short, Then put the web-seal over the edge of the glass down over the frame and onto the skin of the RV siding, Now There is really no need for the window seal eternabond although it will help in some insulation of the window but with the web-seal water will never get it through the windows. I guess i could have just said YES your right man,...LOL
Looks like your photobucket stream is getting to many views. :) Guess that's the cost of being famous eh?
Question about sealing up the windows. I got my front and rear window out today, cleaned all that old putty off. The windows themselves are loose in the frame, the sealing rubber pieces are wayyy too short so there's gaps at every corner.
Anyways, when you put your windows back in, you had the 2x2's and the aluminum outer skin, you put a wrap of eternabond around the frame itself, kinda like you would do with house wrap? Then after the window was in and screwed down, you put a layer over the screws, frame, extending onto the aluminum outer skin itself? So in some area you've got 2 layers of eternabond over the skin?
