OldTrucker,
I have been following this thread for a few days now, and only got to page 140. I decided to go to YouTube to get caught up quicker on your progress with your RV. Wow! I'm just amazed at how much you have done!!! Great work!
What have/or will you be replacing the walls with? Maybe I missed this part, because there is so much to read. LOL Also, what kind of flooring are you putting in?
I am a new RV owner. We purchased a 1976 Dodge Sportsman, which is similar to yours (I think). There was a water leak in the roof when we purchased it, and I just got done putting Eternabond on the roof seams and around the vents. Then I rolled out some Dicor Elastomeric (2 coats). Today, I tested the leaks by spraying water on the roof, and there isn't any leaking into the RV where I previously saw it coming in, which hopefully, this rules out the AC gasket. I need to get the paneling ripped out on the ceiling that was water-damaged, but the cabinets are installed over it. sigh... Am I going to have to take out the cabinets in order to replace the ceiling???
I would appreciate yours and anyone's advice on here. I'm definitely not a carpenter, but I'm willing to do handiwork, if I know where to begin. LOL
