Hey thanks for the great link, Although I know most transmissions inside out, It's all from the experience of on hands working and taking then apart to build them, Even with the hands on experience I still don't know the name of all of the parts, Like the Sun Gear, That is one piece I want to upgrade in my build, The factory gear is not strong enough and the splines are made weak, The Sun Gear is a very weak place in the 4L60 transmissions, I want to Eliminate the weak places in this 4L60E so it will last for the life of this Jimmy, Where there is 5 clutches it will have 9 Ya know the little things that the original builders leave out, If they would only build everything right in just one car or truck would be great, If they wanted to they could build a car/truck that would just about last forever.
