How about 4" fiberglass strips and resin? A bit of Gel Coat to top it off, then sand and paint?
I've not done it on RV corners, only on boats,, keel and hulls. Worked pretty much like dry wall tape on the keel and was sandable to make it 'blend'. I never even used Gel, just sanded lightly and painted. Done right it won't leak, and it's fairly rigid/structural, if you use 4 or 5 layers of glass mat with resin filling the spaces.
