Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class C

Maybe you covered this already but.. How did you tap into the gas tank to fuel the generator? I know it's not real difficult with one of those cheap electric fuel pumps. I saw how my employer did it to a box van they added a contractor grade generator too. They basically drilled a hole, dropped a fuel line in, hooked in one of those cheap fuel pumps and fed the line straight into the carb on the generator. They mounted the generator under the box next to the frame rail of the truck. It was just a simple Honda contractor grade, open frame, generator. I think a 5500 watt. It's primary purpose was to power a AC unit on the roof. They also moved the start switch inside. I'm assuming that the carb had an auto choke.
