I guess some folks pay their insurance premiums for nothing. I know for a fact that I pay my insurance agent to represent ME and they have in the past. I would be "overseeing", but NOT doing the work you pay your insurance company to do.
When our toad was rear-ended while being towed, our insurance company did everything to get us a more than fair settlement from the other drivers insurance company, including finding us a replacement toad and having all the new towing equipment installed before delivering the new toad to us.
