Dealer should be a little embarrassed, even if the product was delivered to them damaged. Embarrassed enough to locate another 2016 for you? Just for me, six-speed transmission's no deal-maker over the five UNLESS Sixth gives you another Overdrive choice. The five-speed has the same ratio change 4-to-OD as our older four-speed has in 3-to-OD. If the new six-speed offers 4-to-OD1-to-OD2, I'd be much more interested. Still, it's an evolution in Ford transmissions so new is probably better, even if only marginally.
BUT BUT BUT I would not own another JAYCO without a fiberglass roof.
EDIT: Our older Jayco has a door jamb label saying an outfit called Sellers (Sellars?) stretched it. We have no issues that I could relate to the chassis extensions, wheelbase or overhang.
