I need help choosing a tow dolly the are quite pricy.is it safe to buy a used one

After looking at a few different dollies, used and new. I decided on purchasing the Acme. Looks and feels heavier duty than the Tow Master models. You do get what you pay for. It's probably over kill for my Rav4, but I'll have this one forever, or until I get a 4X4 Wrangler and tow flat.
