Thanks for all the advice on this topic. The trailer has electric brakes. That why it is a 7 blade connection. I think I will just make my own like some of you suggested. Another question along the same lines. Are the turn signals and brake lights on the trailer sufficient or is it recommended to also have the magnetic brake lights and turn signals on the back the car we are towing. I only ask because I saw someone else with an RV driving by me that had both.
