I have converted a conversion van for myself but not enough room for my husband. So after last summers trip with him in a tent he was ready to step up. I looked at the Aliner but couldnt find used at a good price so found a little company in Florida makes tear drops very reasonable. Had one built to his specs and I picked it up on my way home(to WI). Between the van and TD we have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, an office, a living room with TV and computer, and a showerless bathroom. What is better is that by dividing up the space he can work on his course in quiet, stay up late reading and get to sleep when he wants while I can watch TV, turn in early, etc. We are not used to being in each others face when at home either. We are in day 3 on our way west to Washington, state of, then down to California visiting friends and relatives as well as taking in national parks on the way. I think this is going to work.
