As far as towing go's I don't think there is a better, 4 down, trailer, or dollie, brakes needed on all three. As far as storage while on the road 4 down has the ribbon. As far as backing up the trailer has the ribbon. As far as cost maybe the dollie but not by much. Easiest to load and unload a tiltbed trailer and you can switch toads at will and any toad will do. Turning the 4 down has it followed by the dollie. Each has an advantage over the other in some form. Personally I don't like a dollie. I do like 4 down and a trailer. But to each, make your choice.
