We would like to tow a vehicle without having to use a trailer. Which vehicle is best?
Bodyguard, you have to give us a little more information. What are your intentions with the tow vehicle and your needs?
We don't go off road but I like AWD. I like the height of a small SUV just in case I have to straddle a gator (rubber tire) in the road and I don't want it to get caught under a low profile tow vehicle.
We are on our second Honda CR-V... had an '07 and now '13. We wanted the navigation system in both because once we are at our destination, it is a major tool to find places/addresses while touring.
CR-V's are light (3,400 lbs.), seat five, have plenty of storage and get 22 city, 30 hwy. It's a well rounded 'do-it-all' vehicle. Ours is AWD but it's more of a passive system, not like a Jeep. If the front wheels lose traction, the rear wheels kick in.
There are a lot of good tow vehicles and there is one waiting just for you!
