Towing with my old Class C
When I drive my old '88 Coachmen Catalina 26CB on the highway it has good power, rides smoothly, is very stabile and drives straight as an arrow. However, when I tow my '06 Honda CRV 4-down behind it, it's a totally different situation, steering becomes very twitchy, wonders all over the road and gives the feeling that it could get away from you at any second, you have to concentrate on steering every foot that you travel. In the opinion of experienced Class C drivers, is this kind of normal behavior due to the CRV's weight verses MH weight, or is something not right? I've towed my CRV behind 3 different Class A's and of course, it doesn't effect the MH handling at all.....sure not the same with this little rig! Any info would be a big help!
