Trace RC7 inverter OVERTEMP error in FREEZING weather

I have a Monaco Windsor 40PST class A motorhome with a Trace inverter. I have a problem with this inverter, first, is that the fan makes a very annoying sound and does so at seemingly random times...

Find the manual to check the error code. It may not want to charge a "frozen battery". It may just think they are frozen. Warm the sensor up with your hands and see if the error goes away. The noisy fan is probably telling you the unit is not getting proper cooling. Good time to get the batteries charged with a portable charger. Remove the negative leads and then remove the inverter/charger. Get it fixed. Leave the negatives of the batteries offline.
