If we're going to go from funny (the intent) to real life (serious,) so will I then.
Do be careful while driving the ol' toad around in different parts of the country. Some cameras are set to be real revenue generators.
While in Florida I was warned not to be across the white line at a stop light, due to that camera logging it as a violation. The locals were fighting the city to stop the practice. As a traveler, who would have guess it would have given out a ticket. Heck, in my small Saturn toad I would pull out just to see around a vehicle next to me so I could make a right hand turn.
Yes, that is how it works in Texas. THAT wide white painted line, IF your tires touch it, can trigger a Red Light ticket IF TURNING RIGHT ON RED. When turning right on red, your vehicle MUST stop ( front tires) behind that painted line before proceeding right on red. If you stop and your tires are on the painted line and then you proceed right, you will get a ticket. If NOT turning right on red and proceeding straight, your tires can be across the white line. In Texas, ONLY Red light violations can be used by Camera's. Registration in Texas is on the windshield.
