I had a welding shop fabricate a drop down hitch to the height needed to make the trailer level. Basically they took my hitch and welded a plate on either side of the square bar and then added a new bar to the top of the plates. Filled in the front and back with plates to close up the addition. I had them put a handle on top to make it easier to insert and remove plus carry.
