NC raised the length after a few Troopers and Sheriff deputies started making a living off of racers. Here racers includes NASCAR which is one of the largest contributors to the State economy so we do have some clout---got the law changed. Sorry Barney Fife
Triple tow is also knowing as double tow to some, triple means the puller and 2 trailers, such as motorhome, jeep and small boat trailer as my setup, 3 all together in the chain.
