Trans output shaft leaking. Need opinions.
A mechanic noticed that my allison trans output shaft seal is leaking but I never have had to add trans oil. Can anyone tell me if this is serious and if it should be fixed right away?

Is this a trusted mechanic? If not then I would keep an eye on it and if it's actually leaking. Perhaps your guy is trying to pull a fast one on you.
