Transmission recall

I own a 2011 Winnebago Adventurer coach with the Ford chassis, and going thru my books and papers to re-arrange them, came across a recall notice from Ford on the transmission indicator assembly Is this re-call still good evan having forgot about it for so long?

  • When we first bought our RV new to us at the time it had the 2004 F53 chassis. I called the number in the book for Ford and was told they were glad I had called. The rv was still in the previous owners name. They took all my information and said that if any recalls were forth coming I would get the recall and not the previous owner. If anyone has bought a used RV with a Ford chassis I recommend they call Ford to update you as the new owner.
  • Recalls last for years-your coach hada be almost band new when the recall was made-don't stress it just call for an appointment-eventually you'll get another recall notice if you don't.
  • I would imagine the recall is still valid and will be honored. You can check through a FORD dealer for sure. I know that I have had recalls done on a pick up that was 8 years old so, your recall would likely still be taken of.
