transporting a rv fridge
Does it hurt to lay down a rv fridge to transport it for say an hour?

Yep. That's why I responded the way I did. I talked to the manufacturer of my rebuilt cooling unit (Nordic) once it was delivered via FedEx. He said in addition to rotating it upside down to mix the rust inhibitor and ammonia, stand it back upright for at least 4-5 hours or preferably overnight before applying heat.
