Thanks Neverhappy, we think alike on several points, but I won't write too much on it here, so I don't shift the thread too much. But this is important consideration you have added, in relation to the price question, since Travato is one of the lowest priced complete and ready-to-go B's. I like the Promaster a lot from what I have seen, but I don't have any direct data or reports to share; it's a personal impression. The V-6 Pentastar engine is a good one, at least in cars (used in base-model Dodge Challengers, and many happy customers there). I'm with you on US (and Canadian) iron, and since 1992 I have had an excellent run of quality and longevity.
When I was shopping Travatos extensively a year ago, prices in the mid 70s were possible to find all around in listings, but it appears my 1 year old data is already becoming past history. Always good to check last year's model availability and price, as well as current year models.
