Traveling late April
Doing a "try it" trip from Connecticut for a week. Any campgrounds open that early? Try it as in want to tour US, is an RV comfortable for a single retiree

Don't know about New Your, but in Indiana, State Parks are open all year round, but water, bath houses, and dump stations are not available until April 1. Most private campgrounds open on April 1 in Indiana. By end of April, everything is open and water turned back on.
