Traveling the back roads
How many others take the secondary highway rather than the interstates? We like the little towns along the way. you miss a lot on the freeways.

I look for secondary roads.Here's one I can recommend. Living in Arkansas, I have to cross the plains to go to the west. i've done I-10, I-40, I-70, I-80. Last summer, I tried Nebraska state highway 2. A lonely road with really nice scenery (the sand-hill country). Hardly any RV parks, but there are some nice city-operated campgrounds along the way.
