Traveling to view the Eclipse ?

There are several farms/ranches around here that are opening up their fields for people to camp in. I suspect the response has not been as great as originally anticipated because most of them have dropped their prices. One close to me was originally asking $400 for 4 nights of tent camping and $800 for the same time with an RV. I looked at their website and counted the spaces they had allocated. I figured if they filled up they would make $312,000 for the 4 days. The news is still projecting about 200,000 visitors in our area. For a town of less than 10,000, that is quite a hit on our infrastructure. We'll see how things work out.
