Yes, we know it's a long way. We could have gone to North Platte or Casper. But watching the eclipse over the Tetons was a better choice. I experienced the total eclipse in Feb. 1979 in south central Montana while being a driver for a bus in a 17 bus Yellowstone Park Trans charter with 680 eclipse gazers. It was remarkable to see on the plains of Montana. So with the Tetons involved it will be a spectacle for sure watching the shadow climb the mountains
