Trying to decide if a Class B will work for me

I'm trying to decide if a Class B is the right choice for me. I prefer boondocking over campground staying. I'm constantly on the move and rarely stay in one place for more then a day or two, to much ...

pt 2.) my neighbor has a 4x4 1999 ford PW excel model.
he did the conversion himself- his sportmobile burned down in the driveway- he saved the running gear and put in under an excel he bought.

he uses it mostly for trips into mexico- as a 4x4 camper it is pretty good, but he says it's not so great at highway speeds.
