Raymond, since you are planning on going full-time, I would definitely de-clutter the house (not saying you are a hoarder). Just keep the basics inside as I think a house sells better with something inside.
I think an empty house may make the owner seem more desperate and may attract lowball offers. People can visualize themselves living in the home when the see the furniture in comparison to the size of the room.
