The jack is a medium range antenna with a fairly wide field of vision.
If you often park a long way (50 miles or more) from the transmitters and they are grouped close to each other a Batwing, with wingman, and Sensar Pro indoor module, will outperform the jack.
ON the other hand if you are closer in so the stations are more scattered (Wider angles between them) The jack will work better.
So its all a trade off... Im a long way from tightly grouped transmitters, So I use a batwing, wingman, and Sensar Pro. And am very happy.
An easy way to think of the assorted antennas.
Basic Batwing: Like the unaided eye (It sees what is in front of you and quite a bit off to the side as well, but not all that far.
Jack... LIke a set of low power field glasses or opera glasses.. You lose the side vision, but still can see the full stage,, And a whole lot better.
Wingman with batwing and sensar pro... Telescope.
