I bought a Jack to replace the stock antenna on my motorhome. To evaluate the Jack I first did several channel searches with different orientations of the antenna. Once I felt that I had the best performance from it I could get I installed the antenna booster that came with the Jack but not the antenna. I about doubled the number of stations I could get without the booster. I then replaced the original antenna with the Jack. I lost about 20% of the stations I had. I ended up keeping the booster in line and retaining the original antenna. The Jack is in its box in the basement. I have not been able to fool with it anymore since then and I reserve the right to change my opinion if/when I get to do more testing.
