tv mount suggestions please....

I want to mount a 19" lcd tv under a dinette cabinet in my Coachmen C (can´t use wall mount!) and it will be a corner install. Tv only weighs 5#...looking for a lt weight, low profile, inexpensive mount..hopefully one that has a disconnect. I will have to reinforce the floor of the cabinet, but not a problem..just need to find a mount that doesnt seem to weigh more than the tv itself!! Janalee
  • TV mounts are standardized. There are zillions available. Search at places like Amazon or NewEgg. There are undercabinet mounts made that fold flat with the cabinet bottom; if your cabinet is deep enough and you have a little clearance under it, you may not need to disconnect and remove the TV when it's not in use.

I have in my motorhome (installed by the previous owners) a dedicated undercabinet TV mounted to the dinette overhead cabinets, and it works out splendidly. It is smaller than a 19" TV for sure. They didn't reinforce the cabinets at all, and it's holding up OK. (The cabinet bottoms, at least on my Coachmen, are actually false bottoms with a gap underneath that wires and such get run in. It would not be a bad plan to reinforce the gap between the two bottoms with some filler material. That wasn't done on mine, and the cabinet floor part is somewhat distorted and not flat from the clamping of the mounting screws. Still, it's plenty sturdy enough.)
